When we accepted the commission to install 4 new lathes at Howells in Manchester we were sure it was going to have a few problems. After all, the location was complex, but we couldn't image how much heavy lifting was going to be involved.

We arrived at the crack of dawn and woke the birds with the sound of heavy diesel engines.

In the end it all went quite smoothly but by 8pm, with all the machines installed, running and calibrated we were looking forward to a hot fish supper from the chippie next door.
